Britain's Andy Murray won the Aegon Championships at Queen's Club by defeating South African Kevin Anderson 6-3, 6-4 in a one-sided final match on Sunday.

The world number three Murray didn't given any chance to the opponent in front of his home crowd. He just has defeated Viktor Troicki in Semifinal match just two hours before the final one. Semi Final has been interrupted by the rain in the previous evening.
In the semi-final Murray beat Troicki by 6-3, 7-6(4).

In the Final, first set was finished in just under half an hour. In the second one Murray has been challenged by Anderson strongly which Murray had to recover with his excellent shots and won the set 6-4.

India defeated France 3-2 in Hockey World League

India's glory run continues in Hockey World League as they defeated France in the first match of the FIH Hockey World League semifinals at Antwerp, Belgium on Saturday.

India's performance was at top in the practice matches of the tournament and they continued that run but it was a tough fight for them which they managed to win with a thrilling 3-2.

France started well and able to give first shock to India in just 3rd minute of the match by taking the lead. Olivier Sanhez struck that goal. But India fought back by scoring two back to back goals before half time to make the score 2-1.

In the second half France's strikers were too much attacking, for which they got rewarded with their second goal by Simon Marin. In the fourth quarter both teams got their chances and it was Sardar Singh's brilliance two minutes before the close of that eventually made the difference.

But before end of the match Ramandeep Singh gave India the winning third goal.

Argentina struggled but advanced into Copa America quarter-finals

Expectedly Argentina advanced to quarter-finals of Copa America 2015 by defeating Jamaica 1-0 on Saturday.

It was Argentina captain Lionel Messi's 100th appearance for his nation, and Gonzalo Higuain's only goal in the match made this match memorable for Messi and Argentina reached to quarter-finals as a group leader.

Although Napoli striker Higuain struck in just 11th minute of the match and gave his team a vital lead in the match and first half was dominated by them. On 22nd minute Higuain almost struck again but it went over the bar. After that Messi, Higuain and Angel Di Maria created multiple chance to increase the lead but could not make that chances to goal.

But 2014 World Cup finalist Argentina's performance was not like their standard and they had to do hard work to keep that lead and struggled a lot to break defence of World number 65th Jamaica specially in the second half.

In Copa America, Brazil got a huge shock when they have been defeated by Colombia 1-0 on Wednesday. Colombia fans took this win as revenge against Brazil for the defeat in last year's World Cup quarterfinals.

It was a bad night for Brazil, they not only make their journey in the tournament tough but when skipper Neymar picked up his second caution of the tournament, which rules him out of the crucial final group match against Venezuela on coming Sunday. 17-time Grand Slam winner Roger Federer entered into the quarter-finals at Halle. If he will be able to win the title this time it will be his eighth title. Federer entered into the quarter-finals by defeating Latvian Ernests Gulbis 6-3, 7-5 on Wednesday.

He will now face meet Germany's Florian Mayer who defeated American Steve Johnson 6-3, 7-6 (7/4).

Federer has reached the final of the last nine editions of the grasscourt Wimbledon tune-up, winning seven.

Peru defeated Venezuela, quarter final chance opened for all teams in Group C

Bayern Munich star Claudio Pizarro gave his country Peru a 1-0 victory against Venezuela in Copa America 2015. Peru faced a defeat against Brazil in the opening match by 2-1.

India defeated Great Britain 3-1 in practice match

After USA in the last match, Indian hockey team defeated Great Britain 3-1 on Thursday in their fourth practice match before Fintro Hockey World League Semi-Final 2015.
Indian Men hockey team is in top form this time, they scored in the very first minute in this match. It was Gurbaj Singh who beat British defenders and hit the ball in the goal.

In just 12th minute Indian team increase the lead when defender Devindar Sunil Walmiki scored another goal. It was not the end of Indian storm, in 20th minute forward player Akashdeep Singh sealed the win by making the score line 3-0. After eight minute Britain got their consolation goal but Indian defence didn't allow them to score more and India won the match by 3-1.

Fintro Hockey World League Semi-Final 2015 is scheduled from June 20th to July 5th and India will face France in their first match on 20th June.

FC Barcelona became the kings of Europe for the fifth times in history by beating Juventus in Champions League final at the Olympic Stadium on Saturday. Barcelona won the match by 3-1.

Rafael Nadal missed to watch the French Open final

Master of clay court Rafael Nadal said that he was so busy in his training that he could not watch the French Open final this year in which Stan Wawrinka was in dream form that he defeated Novak Djokovic at Roland Garros on Sunday.

Nadal told: “I didn't watch the match, I was training.”, he is in Germany for grass court training.

“Starting on grass is always difficult. I'm going to try to play my best, to train as much as possible today (Monday), tomorrow and Wednesday for my first match.”

Nadal who won the French Open title nine times in his career, faced a defeat against Djokovic in quarter final of this year's tournament and interest fact is this was his just second loss in 72 matches in Paris since his 2005 debut

Regarding the defeat he commented that the loss was “now part of the past”.

“I must improve any level of tennis, my intensity on the court. If I can do that I'm confident that I can return to my best level.

“I'm making my debut on grass two weeks before Wimbledon, I hope that's going to help.”
