Top seeds pair Sania Mirza and Martina Hingis entered into the quarterfinals of French Open. In the women's doubles third round they won the match by 6-1, 6-4 against 14th seed Italian pair of Karin Knapp and Roberta Vinci.

Now Sania Mirza remained the only Indian hoped in French Open as Leander Paes and Rohan Bopanna accepted defeats in third round on Sunday.
