Bangladesh stunned India by 79 runs

It was like a revenge match for Bangladesh after quarter final defeat in last World Cup against India and they stunned India by 79 runs. It was a fearless and all round performance from motivated Bangladesh team.

Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat first. Bangladesh openers Tamim Iqbal and Soumya Sarkar started attacks from the beginning. Sarkar made 54 runs from 40 balls before go out when Bangladesh was at 102 runs. Rains interrupted the match for few minutes. After coming back to crease Bangladesh lost some back to back wickets which made their score to 149 for 4. Tamim Iqbal made 60 runs with 7 fours and 1 six. Then Shakib Al Hasan and Sabbir Rahman made a stand of 83 runs. Shakib made 52 runs while Sabbir Rahman scored 41 runs and Bangladesh got all out in 307 runs in 49.4 overs.

Aswin took 3 wickets while Bhuvaneshwar Kumar and Umesh Yadav took 2 wickets each. Mohit Sharma and Jadeja took 1 wicket each.

In chase of 308 runs, Indian openers Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan also started well and built up a 95 runs stand, but after that Indian batting line up just collapsed and lost 5 wickets more

JSW is interested to buy Royal Challengers Bangalore

JSW is interested in RCB

Business giant JSW has confirmed that they are interested in the Indian Premier League (IPL) team Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Parth Jindal, JSW Group's Economic Analyst and son of Chairman Sajjan Jindal, confirmed that they are very much interested to buy the team.

It was reported in March that JSW can offer about $11-billion for the team, but at that time current team owner Vijay Mallya declined the news.

JSW sports are very much interested to build up a massive sports base in Karnataka and this can be their starting step.

Parth Jindal is the CEO of former I-League champions Bengaluru FC and is the key man behind building an Olympic Village for multi-discipline sports in Ballari later this year.

England won the first test match against New Zealand

England won the first test match against New Zealand in Lord's on the final day.

It was England captain Alastair Cook and Ben Stokes who showed England the winning path.

New Zealand who chose to field first on the first day, bowled excellently in the first inning of England and were able to restrict England's score to 389 runs Joe Root (98 runs), Ben Stokes (92 runs), Jos Buttler (67 runs) and Moeen Ali (58 runs) had major contribution in the score. Boult and Matt Henry took 4 wickets each.

On 2nd day New Zealand batsmen were excellent too and they made a huge score of 523 runs. Except Corey Anderson all top 7 batsmen scored a decent runs. Kane Williamson was highest run scorer with 132. Guptill (70 runs), Ross Taylor ( 62 runs), Watling (61 runs), Latham (59 runs) and NZ captain Brendon McCullum (42 runs) are the major run scorer.

Pakistan won first ODI by 41 runs against Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe fought well but lost 1st one day match in 3 match series against Pakistan played at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. It was a high scoring match where Pakistan won the toss and elected bat first, scored huge 375 runs with loss of 3 wickets in 50 overs and in reply Zimbabwe's score was more unexpected, they scored 341 runs and lost the match by just 41 runs.

Pakistan to four batsmen made 75+ runs. Openers Mohammad Hafeez and captain Azhar Ali made a stand of 170 runs in 26 overs before Azhar got out in 79 runs, Hafeez also followed him just after 4 runs, he made 86 runs with 8 fours and 4 sixes.

After that Shoaib Malik and Haris Sohail continued with much aggressive way. They built up 201 runs of partnership in just 23 overs. India will host SA in all form of cricket this year


India is going to host South Africa in a full cricket series in coming October. South Africa will start the tour with four match test series followed by an ODI series of five matches and after that India will face SA in 3 T20 matches.

Although the exact date have not been revealed yet by BCCI but they have announced the month and the venue.

The Board Of Control For Cricket In India (BCCI) announced the venue in their official twitter account.

BCCI announced that test series will be played in Oct-Nov months and Ahmedabad, Delhi, Nagpur and Bangalore will host matches.

Mumbai Indians won IPL for the second time

Mumbai Indians bagged the IPL trophy for the second time, by defeating a strong side of Chennai Super Kings by 41 runs in the IPL2015 final. It was a perfect day for Mumbai who lost the toss and send to bat and batted excellently and in second half their bowlers were excellent too to stop strong batting side like CSK in 41 runs behind.

RCB won eliminator dominantly against Rajasthan Royals


Full of suspense and thrill was expected from the eliminator match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rajasthan Royals. But RCB made it totally one sided and defeated Rajasthan by 71 runs.

RCB won the toss and elected to bat first. Chris Gayle and captain Virat Kohli started well but could not sustain the momentum and Gayle lost his wicket after making 27 runs when his team was at 41 runs. Kohli also got out just after 5 runs. At that time Rajasthan was slowly taking the charge of the match but AB de Villiers and Mandeep Singh kept their wickets and built up a solid partnership of 113 runs. MS Dhoni fined for public comment against umpire decision

Chennai Super Kings has lost their 1st qualifier and another little bad news came after the match when skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been warned and fined 10 per cent of his match fee for “inappropriate public comments” to an umpire's decision after the match against Mumbai Indians.
