To handle India’s biggest problem i.e. “lack of change cash :P”, E-Commerce major- Snapdeal have come up with an option to pay through their credit and debit cards when they opt for pay-on-delivery option across 200 cities in India.
Snapdeal says,”The solution has been developed in partnership with GoJavas which they have acquired in March. Now customers can pay by card on delivery option. Right now it is started in 120 major cities but soon they will cover whole of 200 cities.”
“Customers major times complained about lack of change or not having enough cash handy with delivery boys”. Snapdeal also mentioned,”they will invest $150-200 by March next year on expanding its delivery operations as the competition in the booming Indian eCommerce market and to bring more customer satisfaction.”
Under the service, GoJavas will equip its delivery staff to carry POS (transaction) machines to allow users to pay using their credit and debit cards.
