Google Patent

Google patent: soft toys that can interact with kids

Google has filed a patent for some special toys. These are rabbit and bear shaped soft toys that pay attention to the people who are present in the same room and can interact with other media devices as well. Toys are having microphones in their ears, cameras in their eyes, speakers in their mouths and motors in their necks.

The toys would be able to wirelessly communicate using Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or other means with cloud-based computers or manage other media devices, perhaps turning on songs or movies at children’s commands.

Google has proposed that these toys(which are devices actually) can serve as an “intelligent remote control”.

This Google patent listed Richard Wayne DeVaul and Daniel Aminzade as inventors for this intelligent soft toys and the application was filed on February of 2012.
